About
Julia works with both analogue and digital photography. In her pictures she seeks for architecture, moods and sometimes for the uncomfortable. She also understands photography as something object-like, with materiality playing an important role.
Julia lives and works in Vienna. She studied History at the University of Vienna, Cultural Management at the University of Music and Performing Arts and Photography at the Friedl Kubelka School for Artistic Photography. She worked in curatorial positions for VIENNA DESIGN WEEK and the SAMMLUNG VERBUND Collection, Vienna.
Her works were last shown in exhibitions at OstLicht. Gallery for Photography, Vienna, at the art fair Parallel Vienna, Off Grid - Independent Foto Festival Wien and the Vienna Art Week.
